VAN GOGH SF: THE IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE

This exhibit in San Francisco was a big disappointment.

I was expecting an immersive experience, like the one they kept showing on their Instagram. But this one just didn't deliver.

The building is more like a big warehouse than anything else—there are no windows, and it's just one big room with a bunch of circles for social distancing. There were couple of benches to sit on, but you're constantly distracted by the fire extinguishers, vents, crown moldings, beams, doors, exit signs and constant people walking around taking videos.

The music was good—but 1 big messy room with a big structure in the middle disrupting the experience was not worth the price.

It’s an interesting experience, but you sit in one room and watch a 30 minute show and it’s over…. and we paid $143 for two people.
