INTERSTELLAR ROLLER SKATE PARK

Universe is what I have on my mind often when I skate - the global pandemic has created an always present, heavy feeling of stress and uncertainty that dissapeares from my mind the moment I put my skates on 🤩 In a way, skating gives me feeling like I am on a different planet and it lifts my spirits. 🧡

I am new to the skating world in the USA, got my skates last fall and I think all new roller skaters should learn about the Black skate community and understanding where it all started - that it was NOT on TikTok! Roller skating was even a fundamental chapter of the civil rights movement! Skating would not be where it is without the Black community. If you don’t know about this stuff please go educate yourself. I recommend the “United Skates” documentary for starters! Together we stand, united we skate! ✊🏼✊🏽✊🏿
